Lamar East Primary is a Preschool – Second grade school within the Lamar R-1 district. We are located in Lamar, Missouri in Barton County. We have a wonderful school community. Our caring staff members work hard to help all students learn and want what is best for them. Our students are eager to learn and we strive to help them follow our Tiger Expectations to be safe, be respectful, be responsible, and ready to learn. Many parents and other community members contribute to our school. Our partnership with the families of our students as well as other community members and organizations is a key part of our success. Students benefit as parents and guardians are involved in their formal education. We should have consistent communication between home and school for families to learn about what is happening at school and provide feedback to help us improve. Please be involved. Like all schools, we have opportunities for improvement, and we aspire to unite with you in our efforts.
